You can relax when it comes to parking. Pizzon is one of those places where the word “parking” doesn’t cause any existential crises. There are free spots right in front of the house, and amazingly, no one’s trying to steal them while you’re maneuvering.

The closest train station for those coming from Germany or Verona (so from the north or south) is Domegliara - Sant’Ambrogio. For those arriving from Milan (that is, from the west), the most convenient station is Peschiera del Garda, which also offers better connections with buses going directly to the lake and the hill towns.

The nearest highway exit is Affi – Lago di Garda Sud, on the A22 motorway. It’s about a 10-minute drive from our farmhouse. If you prefer to enjoy the scenery along the lake, you can take a more scenic route. From Garda, head up the hill towards Costermano sul Garda. Then follow the signs to Castion Veronese. Once you reach the square in Castion, take the narrow road running along the left side of Villa Cipolla Pellegrini, which is easy to recognize by its tall exposed stone walls. At the end of this road, you’ll find yourself right in front of Jar.

The closest airport is Verona’s Valerio Catullo. From there, daily bus connections run to the Garda bus station—the nearest one—via line 482. Alternatively, you can choose to fly into Milan or Bergamo, then take a train to Peschiera del Garda station and continue to Garda by ATV bus lines 164, 482, or 483.
